WHO WE SUPPORT
EVERY UNIFORM.
EVERY SERVICE.
Salute for Service supports every Australian who has answered the call — from the fields to the streets, skies, and stations of our own backyard.
YOU SERVED.
WE’RE HERE FOR YOU.
Whether you wore a uniform or responded to a house fire, the weight of what you witnessed, carried and sacrificed doesn't disappear when the shift ends. Salute for Service was built by people who know that — and exists to help you navigate what comes next.
FIRE AND RESCUE
Firefighters run toward things the rest of us run away from. The psychological cost of doing that — repeatedly, over years — deserves more than a debrief and a pat on the back.
Firefighters — career and volunteer — carry an invisible load that accumulates over years of critical incident response: fatal accidents, structure fires, entrapments, wildfire deployments, and line-of-duty losses. The physical toll of turnout gear, heat exposure, respiratory hazards and musculoskeletal stress compounds alongside the psychological weight.

STATE AND TERRITORY POLICE FORCES
You've seen things that can't be unseen. You deserve proper support — without having to fight for it.
Police officers face a unique combination of challenges — cumulative trauma from years of critical incident exposure, a peer culture that can make help-seeking feel like weakness, and a career transition that doesn't come with a clear manual. Salute for Service provides confidential, judgment-free support for serving and retired officers and their families.

STATE EMERGENCY SERVICES
Volunteers who give everything — often receiving the least recognition and the least support in return.
SES volunteers show up to floods, storms, searches and disasters — often on no sleep, in terrifying conditions, while holding down jobs and families. The psychological impact of sustained disaster response is significant and under-resourced. Salute for Service extends its support to SES volunteers who are carrying more than they should have to carry alone.

PARAMEDICS & AMBULANCE OFFICERS
Paramedics absorb the worst moments of people's lives — every day, for a career. The system depends on them. The least the system can do is support them properly in return.
Paramedics and ambulance officers experience rates of PTSD, depression and burnout that significantly exceed the general population — often without adequate support, and within a workplace culture where strength means not asking for help.
